Privacy

This site holds no personal health information.

That is a design decision, not a promise we hope to keep. There is no field anywhere on this website that asks about your health, your treatment or your diagnosis, and the message form carries a visible instruction telling you not to put those things in it.

This is an informational website. It has no accounts, no profiles and no directory, so there is very little for it to hold about anyone.

What we collect and why

A request records the usual server information needed to serve a page and keep the site secure, including the address the request came from. We run no third party advertising or analytics scripts that carry identifiable data off this site.
Only what you type into the form: your name, your email address, a phone number if you choose to give one, and your message. Nothing about your health.
An email address, and a record of the moment you agreed to receive it. That consent is a separate tick from anything else and is never assumed. You can stop at any time.
Enquiries are kept while they are being handled and for two years afterwards. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe.
Nobody, unless we are legally required to. Nothing is sold and nothing is shared for advertising.
Write to us through the contact page and say what you are asking for. We will reply within thirty days.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie so that a form you are filling in keeps working across pages, and it remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. Neither is used to track you or to build a profile, and nothing that is not essential is set before you agree to it. Refusing is as easy as accepting.
